TASTING NOTES
A fine white wine, as fresh as it is profound.
Complex yet restrained, the nose combines fresh pineapple and guava with apple, pear and ripe peach. Lemon and hawthorn blossom bring freshness, alongside nuances of toasted bread, bread dough, honey and fresh almond. A hint of wet stone and a saline impression complete this distinctive bouquet, in which our Petit Courbu expresses itself with elegance.
The palate opens with breadth and definition, carried by pure pear and quince fruit. The acidity balances the wine’s generous texture, lending energy and carrying it through to a long, precise, saline finish.
Delicious now, this fine white wine delights with its balance of richness and freshness, its complexity and its long, saline finish. It can also evolve in bottle, revealing further nuances of our beloved Petit Courbu.
