DESCRIPTION

A sensory journey through three great years of our signature cuvée. This vertical box set brings together the consecutive 2017, 2018, and 2019 vintages of Pesade, offering a unique opportunity to understand the climate's influence on each vintage and appreciate the remarkable aging potential of this great Southwest red.

Crafted in close collaboration with Swiss Master of Wine Philipp Schwander, Pesade is a 'haute couture' wine. While the 2017 vintage is grounded in Cabernet and Syrah, the 2018 and 2019 vintages prominently feature a distinctive indigenous grape variety, Fer Servadou, which beautifully enhances the roundness of the Merlot and Malbec, as well as the structure of the Tannat.

THE VINTAGES IN THE BOX SET

  • 2017 – Maturity & Complexity (Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tannat): Thanks to low yields, this vintage gave birth to a dense and velvety wine. It expresses itself today in all its fullness, revealing refined tertiary aromas of cigar box, cocoa, musk, and forest floor carried by silky tannins.
  • 2018 – Generosity & Richness (Merlot, Malbec, Tannat, Fer Servadou): A sunny and warm vintage, characterized by remarkable aromatic intensity with stewed black fruits, sweet spices, and a particularly full, rich, and enveloping texture on the palate.
  • 2019 – Balance & Elegance (Merlot, Malbec, Tannat, Fer Servadou): A year of great precision, combining aromatic freshness, a mineral backbone, and a noble tannic structure. A vibrant wine that offers a magnificent burst of fruit while possessing exceptional aging potential.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS
